Ronnie Stam Transferfee to NAC Breda

Ronnie Stam play several seasons for NAC Breda until season 2007-2008 and he was one of the key-players that season. That good he deserved a transfer to FC Twente. 2 years later he gain the championship together with FC Twente of the Dutch Premiership. After his succesful appearence he transferred to Wigan Athletic. Now there are rumours that Stam goes to PSV Eindhoven for 3,5 million euro. If so NAC gets some tranfserfee because Stam play a long time in the youth. Several 100k euro’s should NAC recieve.

Positive news finally after the financial debt.

Cult-hero most fabulous goal

Wanny van Gils (also known as the famous chant: Wanny, wanny hij wil wel maar hij kan nie – Wanny wanny, he want to but he can’t) is one of the several cult hero’s of NAC. Several NAC fans point me on this video on youtube. Watch one of the most fabulous goals of Wanny in the first division against FC Eindhoven. Those good old days at the Beatrixstraat!

Last match of the season: NAC v RKC 3 – 2

The last (home)match of the season finalscore is 3 – 2. A good result if you look at the previous results of the last 10 matches. RKC lost but they still qualified for the Europa League play offs. NAC did not play of anything instead for the final-statistics. NAC ended 13th in the league. That’s acceptable. But next season must be better: way better!

Schalk, Bayram (beautiful one!) and Schilder made the goals.

The 2nd last round of the season: FC Groningen v NAC: 1 – 1

In the last two rounds all the matches will be play on the same time. Also NAC play an away match in Groningen. NAC tied up with FC groningen by 1 – 1. Luijckx score the NAC goal. Unfortunately NAC lost their lead by a free kick in the extra time of the match. Still NAC is officially safe by one point and avoid promotion / relegation matches. After all those bad results: NAC is unbeaten the last 3 away-matches. :-) .

Schilder next season to FC Twente

One of our best and experience midfield players  this season is not playing for NAC next season. It isn’t really a surprise because halfway this season schilder was already flirting with the vice champion. According several rumours FC Twente pay 1,5 million euro for the midfield player. An amount of money NAC need desperately to pay several debts.

Robbert good luck in Enschede and thanks for all those good years in Breda on and off the pitch (Cafe/pub The Stammeneke will miss that man i think).

NAC won against FC Utrecht away

The 2nd away victory this season. A great job in Utrecht because it isn’t always easy to win. NAC won by 1 – 3. First half was weak from NAC side and they were 1 – 0 down. 2nd half was way better in the last 20 minutes Schilder, Schalk and Sarpong made the 3 goals. Becasue of the that victory NAC is in ‘theory’ safe for promotion/relegation matches. IF VVV win the last two matches they must win both matches bij 10 – 0 and NAC must the last matches by 0 – 10 what’s highly unlikely.

Santi Kolk suspended till the end of this season

We know everybody was dissapointed after the NAC v Roda JC match. During the match there was one player probably more dissapointed. Santi Kolk was during the match arguing with Kees Luijcks. According several reports Kolk gave Luijcks a ‘header’ out of nothing. Because of this action Kolk has been suspended by NAC till the end of this season. If NAC not play promotion/relegation matches Kolk can return to Union Berlin because he was on loan this season. Kolk respond in the media ‘I did not give a header whatsoever’.

NAC v Roda JC 0-3

NAC lost the last NAC night of the season against Roda JC. First half it was all ok instead of the last homematch the second half started well 3 huge times to open the score but NAC failed play good defence as well. 3 fast counterattacks by Roda JC And it was 0-3.

FC Twente v NAC: 2 – 2

Yes you read it right first of all i made my apologies for the negative review. But there’s some light at the end of the tunnel. After the bad match in Breda last wednesday. They’ve been woken up. NAC play good for a change. Not entirely perfect still a good passing game. NAC took the lead by 0 – 1 in the 2nd half by Schalk. An important one because the forward did not score much lately. Still after 5 minutes NAC was down by 2 – 1. FC Twente play in 5 minutes terrific football and shows why they’re candidate to beeing champion. Still in the dying seconds of match FC Twente play the same game like in the first half. Waiting, watching and defending. NAC knew they got a chance. Bayram changed for Schalk give a perfect pass and boukhari made the 2 all score. Hmmm not bad at all.
